Maha is a recently called lawyer from Oakville and is currently a Policy Advisor at Environment and Climate Change Canada. She began her career as an environmental lawyer at a corporate law firm in downtown Toronto. Maha graduated in 2019 from the joint Juris Doctor (Law) and Master of Environmental Studies (Environmental Governance) (MES) program at Osgoode Hall Law School/York University and has a degree in Forest Conservation Science from the University of Toronto. Maha enjoys researching and writing and most recently worked with the International Energy Agency on governance systems dealing with the sustainability of bioenergy. In her spare time, Maha loves hiking the Bruce Trail, gardening, hiking, and anything outdoors!
